About Us
Hi my name is Bogdan and I am the owner and the designer of Gaia’s Work. I was born and raised in Romania where I learned a lot about traditional carpentry; Carpentry has always been my hobby although my whole life I have worked in Hospitality. In 2014 I discovered the Epoxy resin and since then I have been passionate about how beautiful it can be because of the explosions of colours and the way that I can capture the beauty of nature as seen through my own eyes which allows me to bring the nature’s beauty in your home.
Through original techniques, attention to detail, vision and patience it helps me make unique projects, saying that I will be more than happy to assist you with your own projects.

What Fractal Wood Burning Means
Fractal wood burning is a process of applying an electrically conductive solution on wood and then applying high voltage electricity through a transformer using two probes. When this electricity is applied, it burns in the wood from one probe to the other. The figures that are created are commonly called Lichtenberg figures or fractal burns. These burns create a lightning like image that is burnt into the wood.

What is Epoxy Resin?
Epoxy resin (polyepoxides) is a certain type of organic compound containing epoxide groups. Their co-reactants are often called ‘hardeners’ or ‘curatives’, and the cross-linking reaction is referred to as ‘curing’.
The reaction forms a thermosetting polymer, often with strong mechanical properties as well as high temperature and chemical resistance..
In simpler terms, polyepoxide is a thermoset resulting from a reaction of 2 or more compounds. This reaction radiates heat and converts the material from a liquid to a cured/ solid form.
